个人简介
Dr. Ursula Palfinger studied experimental physics at Karl-Franzens-University Graz. Her diploma thesis focused on micropatterning by imprint processes and was done within a joint project of JOANNEUM RESEARCH and AT&S GmbH. Her PhD was done for JOANNEUM RESEARCH within the FP6-EU project PolyApply on imprint processes for organic electronic devices.
After employment at Karl-Franzens-University Graz (2000-2003, student tutor) and AT&S GmbH (2002-2003, diploma thesis) she works at JOANNEUM RESEARCH since 2003; as senior scientist since 2010.
Ursula Palfinger´´´s main fields of interest are large-area patterning, UV-based imprint processes (in step+repeat and roller-based processes as well) and the structural analysis via microscopic and profilometric methods. The application fields are biomimetics, microfluidics, optics, sensing and flexible electronics. She coordinates national and international, funded and industrial research projects.
