He currently has appointments in abdominal imaging and nuclear medicine. Fraum’s clinical interests include body MRI, oncologic PET, and abdominal/pelvic applications of PET/MRI. His research interests include PET/MRI for rectal cancer, PET and MRI motion correction, and multiparametric PET. He is currently the principal investigator for several prospective clinical trials. In 2017, Fraum received the Roentgen Resident/Fellow Research Award from the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA). In addition to the RSNA, he is actively involved in the Society of Abdominal Radiology, serving as head of the technical subcommittee for the disease-focused panel on rectal cancer. He is a reviewer for multiple journals, including Radiology and the American Journal of Roentgenology.
