Trine Moholdt is a researcher in the field of exercise physiology. She is the Head of the Exercise, Cardiometabolic Health, and Reproduction Research Group (EXCAR) at the Department of Circulation and Medical Imaging, NTNU. Her research focus the last decade has been exercise and nutrition interventions to prevent and manage cardiometabolic diseases in reproductive-aged women. She has received a Future Leader in Diabetes Award from the European Foundation for the Study of Diabetes/Novo Nordisk Foundation (2019) for the BEFORE THE BEGINNING project. Principal investigator for the ERC Starting Grant project ExMilk - Exercised Breastmilk: A Kickstart for Childhood Obesity Prevention (2023-2028)
