Bio
Research focuses on the study of macromolecular systems and their relationship to biological function/properties. Particular interests include amyloid related systems, redox proteins, nucleic acids, lipoproteins, protein folding, macromolecular labelling (eg deuteration) in structural biophysics.
Extensive use is made of the neutron and X-ray scattering techniques available at large scale facilities such as ILL, ESRF, ISIS, Diamond, the Stanford LCLS and cryo-EM.
