Bio
Pascal Tremblin is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in astrophysics with the Laboratoire AIM Paris-Saclay, working on the effect of the ionization from massive stars on the interstellar medium.
He participated at two summer campaign (2008–2009 and 2009–2010) with the Concordia station in Antarctica in order to measure the precipitable water vapor (PWV) with the tipper SUMMIT08. The PWV is the principal obstacle at the astronomical observations in the terahertz band. He will participate at the summer campaign 2012–2013 in order to install the submillimeter camera CAMISTIC on the 80-cm infrared telescope MAFFEI.
