Bio
Tina P. Andrejević was born on August 22, 1993 in Kragujevac (Serbia). She finished MSc studies in 2017 under the supervision of Professor Miloš I. Djuran, at the Faculty of Science, University of Kragujevac and that year she enrolled PhD studies under mentorship Dr. Biljana Đ. Glišić. Since Februar 25, 2021 Andrejević is Research Assistant at the Department of Chemistry (University of Kragujevac, Serbia). She has participated in 2 national projects. Main research interests of PhD student Andrejević are in the field of Medicinal Inorganic Chemistry. Her research have been focused on the synthesis of various transition metal complexes, their characterization by different spectroscopic, crystallographic and electrochemical methods, as well as evaluation of antimicrobial and cytotoxic activities of the synthesized metal complexes for their potential use in medicine. She has also interested in investigation of interactions of metal complexes with biologically important molecules, such as peptides, proteins and nucleic acids.
