个人简介
Tim Littler has research expertise in power systems, wind and renewable energy integration, smart grids, power system analysis and protection, system stability, power quality, cyber-security, time-series methods, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, electric vehicles and has authored over 90 academic journal and technical (conference) papers, book chapters, and industrial reports. He has been involved as a CI on a new €2.4M collaborative project in battery storage for grid-level integration and has been PI and CI on a €2M SFI CPA Future Energy project (06/CP/E002) and £1M EPSRC Science Bridge Award (EP/G042594/1). Prior to a career in academia, Tim was a professional electronics (design) engineer with over 15 years experience as practitioner in industry, including switched-mode power supply design, power system instrumentation design, phasor measurement, fault location, embedded hardware design, algorithmic software, power-utility commissioning and collaboration, knowledge transfer (USA/Canada) and fibre-channel communications FPGA design and verification.
