Bio
Timo Jaeschke (Senior Member, IEEE) was born in Hattingen, Germany, in 1984. He received the Dipl.-Ing. and Dr.-Ing. degrees in electrical engineering from Ruhr University Bochum, Bochum, Germany, in 2011 and 2017, respectively.
From 2011 to 2018, he was a Research Assistant with the Institute of Integrated Systems, Ruhr University Bochum. He is currently the CEO of 2π LABS GmbH, a precision mmWave-Sensor company, Bochum. His current research interests include frequency synthesis, integrated ultrawideband frequency-modulated continuous-wave (FMCW) radar systems up to 240 GHz, high-resolution radar imaging, and highest precision distance and vibration measurements for various applications.
Dr. Jaeschke is a member of the Verband der Elektrotechnik, Elektronik und Informationstechnik (VDE), the Informationstechnische Gesellschaft (ITG), the European Microwave Association (EuMA), and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Ortung und Navigation (DGON). He was a recipient of the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (IEEE MTT-S) Graduate Fellowship Award in 2013 and the Airbus Defence and Space ARGUS Award in 2010. He was a co-recipient of the EuMIC Prize in 2012.
