Bio
Tim is currently a PhD Candidate at the University of Cambridge. His doctoral research, supervised by Prof Eyal Benvenisti, examines the role of teleological reasoning in the law of international organisations and is funded by the Cambridge Trust and Cambridge Australia Scholarships. He currently serves as Associate Editor of the British Yearbook of International Law, and has supervised the undergraduate international law paper for a number of Cambridge colleges.
Tim originally qualified as a lawyer in Australia, and practised for a number of years as a lawyer at a global firm where he specialised in litigation and contentious regulatory investigations in the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to starting his PhD, he completed his LLM in international law at Cambridge, and worked as a research assistant at the Lauterpacht Centre for International Law.
