I am currently working as a Research Scientist for Quantum Computing Technology at Archer Materials Limited (Australia-based technology company that operates within the semiconductor industry. The Company is progressing the development of 12CQ quantum computing qubit processor chip and lab-on-a-chip biochip technology). My research interests focus on 2D materials, quantum technology, nonlinear optics, nanofabrication, and functional photonics devices. I obtained my B.Sc. in Applied Physics from Ludong University in 2012 and M.Sc. in Optical Engineering from Beijing University of Technology in 2015, respectively. I joined Swinburne University of Technology, Australia for my PhD study in 2016 and obtained PhD in Physics in 2020. I joined the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and the ARC Centre of Excellence for Transformative Meta-Optical Systems (TMOS) UTS Node in March 2021, working as a Postdoctoral Research Associate on quantum source and quantum sensing using hexagonal boron nitride. Then, I joined Archer Materials Limited as a Research Scientist in April 2022. As the first-author or leading contributor, I have published about 35 top-quality scientific papers in highly regarded international journals and conferences, including Nature Physics, Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, Light: Science and Applications, and ACS Photonics et al. I have also been awarded several prestigious prizes, including 2017 Annual Best Student Award, 2018 Annual Publication Award, 2018 INOS KOALA Conference Travel Award, 2019 HDR Outstanding Article Award, 2019 ICNASA Conference Best Poster Award, 2020 ANN bursary to attend ICONN, 2020 SPIE Travel Award, 2020 HDR Outstanding Published Award (commendation), and 2020 FSET Postgraduate Student of the Year (commendation) et al. In addition, I have been actively involved in professional services and leaderships, serving as President of Swinburne Optics and Photonics Chapter (12/2018 - 06/2020), Executive member of Chinese Association of Professionals and Scholars, Australia (CAPS, Australia, 06/2018 - 02/2021), and several Conference Organizing Committee Member. I have also been serving as the Editorial Board Member of American Journal of Optics and Photonics since October 2020. I also served as a reviewer for Nature Communications, ACS Nano, and The Journal of Physical Chemsitry Letters.
