Bio
Tiago Soares (Member, IEEE) received the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the School of Engineering, Polytechnic Institute of Porto (ISEP), Porto, Portugal, in 2013, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), in 2017. He is currently a Senior Researcher with INESC TEC and an Assistant Guest Professor with ISEP. He is a member of the SMART4GRIDS Research Group, Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF). He has coordinated and involved in several projects. He has authored and coauthored over 40 articles published in Energy journals and conferences. His research interests include energy markets, distributed generation, energy resources management and optimization, optimization under uncertainty, energy communities, energy efficiency, and future power systems. He is a member of the Portuguese Engineering Association.
