Bio
Thomas Udelhoven received the Ph.D. degree from Trier University,
Trier, Germany, in 1997 and the Postdoctoral degree (Habilitation), in 2007.
From 2007 to 2010, he was the Head of the Geomatics Platform, Centre de Recherche Public Gabriel Lippmann,
Luxembourg. Since 2010, he has been a Full Professor in the Environmental Remote Sensing and Geoinformatics
Department, Trier University. He has been working in the field of remote sensing since 1992 in the framework of many
international research projects. His main research interests include the development and implementation of data mining
techniques applicable to UAS, airborne, and satellite remote sensing data, spectroscopy, (geo)-statistics, and
hyperspectral thermal remote sensing.
