Thomas D. O’Brien

Dr Thomas O'Brien is a Professor of Musculoskeletal Biomechanics at Liverpool John Moores University. Thomas's research is aimed at understanding the function and adaption of the musculoskeletal and neural systems, and how they the influence movement. Thomas applies this approach in the fields of childhood disability in collaboration with the Alder Hey Orthopaedics Research Group, and fall prevention as part of the Research to Improve Stair Climbing Safety (RISCS) group.
