Bio
Professor Hazem Mohamed Aly Saleh is an Egyptian Otolaryngologist having done his training in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (OHNS) in France. Beside his Medical Doctorate in OHNS earned from France, he holds a DEA in Neuroscience as well as two Diplomas: one in Laser Surgery and the other in Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery from the Gustave Roussy Institute - Paris, where he spent parts of his training. He has been since 2009 a corresponding member of the American Head and Neck Society. Beside his surgical experience in conservative laryngeal surgery and Transoral Laser Microsurgery, he has a research experience in Nanomedicine. This started when he received an NSF scholarship at the University of California in San Francisco, to work on the role of Nanotechnology in Oral Cancer Diagnosis and therapy. This research has been since then ongoing in his research laboratory at Cairo University.
He is actually a Professor of Otolaryngology at Cairo University, Egypt. He practices in the largest private hospitals in Cairo. He practiced Head and Neck Surgery years ago, as an Associate Consultant of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the largest hospital complex in the gulf region, the "King AbdulAziz Medical City", in Riyadh, Saudia Arabia.
