Bio
I am a Belgian researcher in signal processing. My focus is on new and innovative sensing techniques developed through both their theoretical and practical study.
My PhD, in UCLouvain in Belgium, under the supervision of Prof. Laurent Jacques and Prof. Luc Vandendorpe, was on the efficient use of 1-bit acquisition for radar signal processing leveraging the theory of Quantized Compressive Sensing.
My research approach has always been end-to-end: I first study the problem theoretically and find a solution relevant to the targeted application, then demonstrate its efficiency through comprehensive simulations before designing a hardware experiment that highlights the practicality and theoretical soundness of the studied method. New advances in RF technology and the design of smaller and smaller sensors require innovative and efficient acquisition and processing schemes. It is these new challenges and opportunities that I want to tackle in my research.
