Bio
Thomas E. Roth (Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degrees in electrical engineering and computer engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology, Rolla, MO, USA, in 2015, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Champaign, IL, USA, in 2017 and 2020, respectively. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Elmore Family School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, USA. Previously, he was a Senior Member of the Technical Staff with Sandia National Laboratories, Albuquerque, NM, USA. His current research interests include multiscale and multiphysics modeling, particularly to address the challenges in rigorously simulating quantum electromagnetic devices.
