He has been involved in blood-brain barrier opening with Columbia University, New York City, NY, USA, on simulations of new transcranial focalization schemes applied to BBB opening and in vivo detection of cavitation. He is involved in new approaches for the study of the brain based on ultrasound neurostimulation and functional ultrasound imaging using ultrafast imaging. He is also developing 3-D ultrafast imaging technologies.
