Bio
Thomas Brüser is a biochemist and microbiologist at the Leibniz University Hannover, known for his work on the mechanism of Tat-dependent protein translocation in prokaryotes, periplasmic pyoverdine biogenesis pathways in fluorescent pseudomonads, and membrane stress response pathways. He is generally interested in protein folding, redox proteins, enzymology, chaperone functions, membrane protein characterization and protein targeting in bacteria.
Thomas Brüser is full professor and head of the Institute of Microbiology (IFMB) and member of the Centre of Biomolecular Drug Research (BMWZ) at the Leibniz University Hannover.
