Career Trajectory
Bio
Thierry Gil graduated in microelectronics and automation from the Polytech School, Montpellier, France, in 1997.
He is currently working as a Research Engineer at the Laboratory of Computer Science, Robotics and Microelectronics, Montpellier. His fields of expertise are on digital design and field-programmable gate array (FPGA) programming. He has participated in several European projects: FIRST for an autonomous mobile robot, PERPLEXUS for Pervasive Computing Framework for Modeling Complex Virtually-Unbounded Systems, and MONTBLANC to develop a full energy-efficient HPC prototype using low-power embedded technology. He is working on the NeurONN European project for the conception of 2-D oscillatory neural networks.
