个人简介
Researcher at the Centre for Research and Intervention in Education (CIIE). He has earned his PhD in Educational Sciences from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto (FPCEUP), with a thesis focused on youth schooling trajectories developed in peripheral contexts. Current research project relies on the complexities of growing up in border regions. Other research interests relate to schooling trajectories of students from deprived contexts, family impact on education, youth cultures and learning environments. Holds a Master's in Educational Sciences from the FPCEUP and a Degree in Languages (Portuguese/English) from the University of São Paulo (USP). He is author and co-author of scientific papers and book chapters regarding schooling, family ties with education, narrative methodology and technology. Since 2019, acts as evaluator (panel student member) of higher education courses for the Portuguese Agency for Assessment and Accreditation of Higher Education (A3ES). Previously, has acted as English Teacher at varied levels of education.
