个人简介
The Duong completed his BS degree in Electrical Engineering in Oregon, United States with the highest distinction. He worked for Intel for three years as Process/Equipment Engineer. During his PhD at the Australian Narional University, The Duong has achieved the highest efficiency of 26.4% for perovskite-silicon tandem solar cells, which has been highlighted in many media and news. He was awarded the Best Ph.D. Thesis Award from the ACT Minister for Climate Change and Sustainability in 2017. After the PhD. The Duong has won two competitive Australian Centre for Advanced Photovoltaics (ACAP) Postdoc Fellowship grants to develop high efficiency perovskite-silicon tandem solar cells. He has also expanded his research interest to solar to hydrogen production and semiconductor gas sensors. His work on direct solar-to-hydrogen generation was listed as one of the top 10 innovations by the Innovation for Cool Earth Forum (ICEF) in 2020.
