个人简介
Dr. Tetiana Zubatiuk is a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Chemistry at Carnegie Mellon University in Olexandr Isayev's research group since 2020. Her current research focuses on applying machine learning algorithms and quantum chemical simulations to model important electronic properties of molecular materials. She has earned her first-class master`s degree (2007) and Ph.D. in Chemistry (2012) from V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, Ukraine (Eastern Europe). International instructor in organic and bioorganic chemistry at the medical and chemistry departments of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University (2009-2011). Research associate at the Ukraine-American Laboratory of Computational Chemistry at SSI Institute for Single Crystals NAS of Ukraine (2011-2015). Adjunct Faculty (courses in general and organic chemistry ) at the department of chemistry and biochemistry at the Jackson State University, USA (2015-2016). A postdoctoral research associate at the Interdisciplinary Center for Nanotoxicity at Jackson State University, Mississippi, the USA in Prof. Jerzy Leszczynski's research group (2016-2020). Guest Scientist Visitor at Los Alamos National Laboratory, NM, USA (in 2018). Computational chemistry experience for ten years. Her research was concentrated on the molecular modeling of the processes of destruction, formation, and adsorption for the carbonaceous materials, using ab initio methods, MD, and neural networks; DFT and TBD studies of mercury halides nanoparticles. Her current h-index is 7 according to Google Scholar. At the present time, her main research interest is the development of machine learning potentials with applications in chemistry and materials science.
