In my clinical role, I work as a Consultant Clinical Geneticist, and have been fortunate enough to undertake training on a clinician scientist track, which provided an opportunity for international training, with research and clinical fellowships in the United States of America, United Kingdom, and Australia, to complement clinical training in Ireland. I am passionate about medical education, and have a number of formal and informal educational roles, working as subject matter expert and tutor on a number of programmes related to Medical Education, Genomic Medicine and Digital Health. I am also enthusiastic about patient education and developed and curate a patient-facing resource (cancergenetics.ie).
