Dr. Anwar had completed his Doctorate in Botany from Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi, Pakistan. He had also worked as visiting faculty member at Bioactive Natural Products and Phytoceuticals Laboratory, Department of Horticulture, Michigan State University (MSU), Michigan, USA. His proven success in increasing student engagement and promoting learning objectives illustrated over 18 years of experience in academic roles. He displays high energy, highly motivated inner drive, highly committed, strong competitive drive, maintains fresh enthusiasm, inspires enthusiasm, seeks greater challenges, generates positive attitudes, displays a strong incentive to succeed and strives for excellence at every opportunity. He works well with people, is incredibly cooperative, establishes solid relationships, and collaborates enthusiastically. Dr. Anwar’s greatest strength is a combination of two: he maintains a continual focus on the big picture while also paying special attention to the details. He has command at operating Chromatographic techniques including HPLC etc. He is also a good field worker dealing with ethnobotanical and ecological aspects of plants and related softwares. He is highly enthusiastic plant scientist specialized in managing students and maximizing learning opportunities in diverse classroom settings. He is approved supervisor of Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan and is currently supervising BS, MS and PhD students. He had won Foreign Travel grants by Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF), Pakistan. He is active member of learned societies (Weed Science Society of Pakistan, Pakistan, Global Harmonization Initiative, International Parasitic Plant Society, International Society for Development and Sustainability). He is voluntarily reviewing research articles of the journals and is acting as associate editor of reputed “Allelopathy Journal”.
