Bio
Tariq Masood received the B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees.
He is currently a Reader at the Department of Design, Manufacturing and Engineering Management, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, U.K. His research interests are in the general areas of digital engineering/manufacturing and engineering design, particularly topics related to system design, process and change management, smart factories, industry 4.0 technology adoption, and operational resilience. He is the Supervisor of a team of Ph.D. researchers working in these fields.
Dr. Masood is on editorial (advisory) boards of several journals, such as IET Collaborative Intelligent Manufacturing (Wiley), Digital Twin (Taylor & Francis), Cobot (Taylor & Francis), PeerJ Computer Science, and Energies (MDPI). He is also an External Examiner for the M.Sc. Smart Manufacturing Program at Birmingham City University. Prior to this, he has worked at the University of Cambridge, Cranfield University, Rolls-Royce, and Loughborough University.
