研究方向为利用蛋白质晶体学手段研究生物大分子的三维结构与功能关系。
目前主要的研究对象分为两个方面:
1. 细胞表面受体复合物的结构研究。
神经营养因子对于神经系统的发育具有重要的意义。研究发现,p75NTR与神经营养因子的直接相互作用与神经系统退行性疾病关系密切。但是二者间的相互作用方式一直存在争议。我们最近完成了神经营养因子NT-3与p75NTR 复合物晶体结构解析,揭示了神经营养因子与其受体P75NTR天然的结合模式。
2. 结构基因组研究计划。
