Bio
I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the School of Earth Sciences, University of Bristol (UK). I have been focusing on field-based multidisciplinary approaches to detect climatic changes and tectonic evolution in Earth’s history and what this might mean for our future. I have focused on two major crises/events, the terrestrial Permian-Triassic mass extinction (PTME) in North China and the closure process of the Meso-Tethys Ocean during the Early Cretaceous in central Tibet. I also developed extensive field-based research experiences at the Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences. This allowed me to gather large high-resolution empirical datasets to test for changes in processes in Earth’s history.
