Bio
Takayoshi Mori received the B.E. degree from Tokyo University of
Agriculture and Technology, Tokyo, Japan, in 2007, and the M.E. and Ph.D. degrees from Tokyo Institute of Technology,
Tokyo, Japan, in 2009 and 2015, respectively. Until 2009, he was engaged in optical signal processing technology,
focusing particularly on a tunable laser with a high switching speed, a wavelength converter with a semiconductor
optical amplifier, and a controller for optical buffering systems. Since 2009, he has been in the NTT Access Service
System Laboratories, Tsukuba, Japan. His research interests include few-mode fibers for optical MIMO transmission. He
is a member of the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers. He received the Communication
Society OCS Young Researchers Award from IEICE in 2011, the Communication Society OFT Young Researchers Award from
IEICE in 2015, and the Young Investigators Award from IEICE in 2016.
