个人简介
Thien Truong is a research fellow at The Australian National University (ANU), where he works on cutting-edge projects to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of solar energy. He holds a PhD in Engineering from ANU, with a focus on photovoltaics, and a MS in Intelligent Micro Nano Systems from Konkuk University, South Korea.
With a strong background in photoluminescence, semiconductor characterization, and silicon solar cells fabrication, Thien has contributed to several Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) funded projects, such as the "Next Generation Silicon Solar Cells Above 26% Efficiency in Mass Production" and the "Physical vapour deposited passivating contacts for high efficiency silicon solar cells". He has also co-supervised a PhD student, guest lectured in a photovoltaic technologies course, and published multiple papers in prestigious journals. Additionally, he has a patent on a jump-flapper robot. Thien is passionate about renewable energy and innovation, and aims to advance the field of solar technology through his research and teaching.
