Tae Hyun Sung

Tae-Hyun Sung received the Ph.D. degree from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan, in 1991. From 1991 to 1992, he was a Research Fellow with the International Superconductivity Technology Center, Tokyo, Japan. From 1992 to 1995, he was a Postdoctoral Associate with Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge. From 1996 to 2009, he was a Group Leader with Korea Electric Power Research Institute-Korea Electric Power Corporation. Since September 2009, he has been with the faculty of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Hanyang University, where he is currently a Professor and the Head of Superconductivity and Electrical Materials and Energy Storage Device Laboratory. His research fields are superconducting applications, piezoelectric materials, and energy harvesting systems.
