Bio
Thierry Coosemans obtained his PhD in Engineering Sciences from Ghent University in 2006. After several years in the industry, he now became a member of the MOBI research teamon transport te
chnology at the VUB, where he works as a scientific project developer and project manager. He is involved in the current FP7 projects Syrnemo, Batteries2020, Unplugged, OPERA4FEV, SuperLIB, Smart EV-VC and GO4SEM (Coordinator) as well as in the Living Labs Electric Vehicles in Flanders, Belgium. His main research interests are electric and hybrid propulsion systems, and the performances of electric-vehicle fleets under real-life conditions. He is and active member of European Automotive Research Partners Association (EARPA) and the European Green Vehicles Initiative Association (EGVIA)
