Bio
Dr. Todd C. Mockler is a faculty member at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center, a professor in the Center for Genome Research and Biocomputing at Oregon State University, and an adjunct professor at Washington University in Saint Louis, Missouri. His research areas include diurnal and circadian control of plant gene expression, regulation of transcript splicing, plant genome sequencing, and bioinformatics, and his published work has provided critical tools and approaches for using high-throughput genome-scale data to understand complex systems. Todd was a principal investigator for the international consortia that sequenced the Brachypodium distachyon and strawberry genomes. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
