个人简介
Dr. Arun Thirumurugan is an assistant professor at the University of ATACAMA working on the development of magnetic nanocomposites for energy, environmental, and biological applications. He has completed his PhD (2010-2015) from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Tiruchirappalli, India. He has worked as a postdoctoral fellow (2015-2017) at the Institute of Physics, Bhubaneswar, India, and then worked as a FONDECYT postdoctoral fellow (2017-2020) at the University of Chile, Santiago, Chile. His research interests are in synthesizing and surface modification of nanomaterials for the potential applications in detoxification, photocatalyst, energy storage, water purification, and biomedical applications. He is also working on the fabrication of flexible energy storage devices.
