个人简介
I am a Ph.D. scholar (Chemical and Materials Engineering) at the University of Auckland. My research interests include graphene and other 2D materials for energy storage and conversion applications. More specifically, I am working to develop high-performance electrode materials for supercapacitor applications.
I work in my department as a graduate teaching assistant to supervise undergraduate teaching labs as well as a research assistant for an externally funded project. I have won many awards and honors during my Ph.D. including the U21 graduate collaborative research award (2020), 1st prize in the poster presentation at the departmental annual symposium, and a team winner of the Velocity Innovation Challenge-COVID19 social category (2020). Also, I have been selected as a Ph.D. student representative in the Staff-student consultative and Faculty of Engineering Executive committee since 2020.
Previously, I received a Master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), China, with dual distinctions as an "excellent international student (2017)" and "outstanding MS dissertation award (2018)", which is awarded to only 10 students annually.
