Sushil Kumar Singh

Sushil Kumar Singh received the M.Sc. degree in geophysics from IIT Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India, in 1997, and the Ph.D. degrees in geophysics from Kurukshetra University, Haryana, India, in 2013. He is currently a Scientist with the Space Applications Centre (SAC)-ISRO, Ahmedabad, India. He has been a Key Member for operational and research aspects linked with the national- and global-level cryosphere applications program using space and ground-based observations. He has participated in a number of glacier expeditions, snow field campaigns, and Indian Scientific Expeditions to Antarctica (ISEA-37, summer team). He has been a part of ongoing and forthcoming missions, such as Resourcesat series, INSAT-3-D/R, HysIS, AVIRIS-NG flight over India, RISAT-1/1A, ASAR L & S, NISAR, and TRISHNA in different capacities. He shared his contributions in the form of journal articles, conferences, SAC books/reports, invited talks, and guiding research students. Dr. Singh is also a member of many scientific societies.
