Singh Sushant

Sushant Singh is currently a director of technology and heads the artificial intelligence competency of the healthcare and life science segment of a leading IT company in India. He earned two Ph.D. degrees: one from a US University and another from an Indian University. Dr. Singh is a recipient of several National and International scholarships and awards, including but not limited to Doctoral Assistantship and Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund fellowships for his doctoral studies, respectively. He is an accomplished author of nearly 50 peer-reviewed articles, books, and book chapters. He also serves as a reviewer and an editor of various mainstream peer-reviewed journals. One of his recent articles, published by the world's one of the top journals of Ecology, “Frontiers in Ecology and the Environment,” was the world’s most downloaded paper of 2018-19. Dr. Singh also initiated the world’s first scholarship to promote India's arsenic issues and build tomorrow's science leaders. He jointly designed an International Certificate Program on Environmental Data Analytics with India's leading IT universities. Sushant extends his support to undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. students by mentoring them on research methods and data analysis. Before migrating to the US for his second doctoral degree, he taught for seven years in an Indian University as an adjunct professor. He also worked as a consultant for the United Nations Children's Fund and Japan International Cooperation Agency. Besides his professional and research works, he spends his time writing poems and scripts.
