Sunmi Kim

Sunmi Kim received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in physics from Kunsan National University, Kunsan, Korea, in 1998 and 2000, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in physics from Sogang University, Seoul, Korea, in 2003. In 2003, she joined the National Institute for Materials Science, Tsukuba, Japan, where she was engaged in research on terahertz (THz) devices using high-$T_c$ superconductors. Since 2006, she has been with the Tonouchi Group in the Institute of Laser Engineering, Osaka University, Osaka, Japan, where she is engaged in research on THz emission microscope for high-resolution imaging. Her current research interests include THz microscopy, near-field measurement, and detector technology.
