Dr. Sunil Kumar Mahla currently works at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University Campus, Hoshiarpur. Dr. Sunil does research in IC Engines and Biofuels, Automotive Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. His current sponsored R & D projects are 1. 'Studies on combustion, performance and emission charcteristics of diesel engine fulled with Biodiesel and Biogas' funded by DST-SERB. 2. "Reforming of biogas for hydrogen production and it's utilization in CI engine under dual fuel mode" worth Rs. 38.95 lacs funded by Ministry of New & Renewable Energy (MNRE).
