S. S. Dhillon received the Ph.D. degree in physics from the University of Cambridge, Cambridge, U.K., in 2001.
Currentlly he is at Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris, France as a part of the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique after completing post-docs at Thales Research and Technology and University Paris VII where he studied novel confinement and nonlinear optics in THz quantum cascade lasers. He was also with the University of Cambridge, where he was investigated far-infrared luminescence from quantum cascade structures. His current research interests include ultrafast spectroscopy of quantum well structures and magnetospectroscopy.
