个人简介
I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate with the Illinois State Water Survey group at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, working on the boundary layer processes at local to regional scales. I did my Ph.D. at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) under the guidance of Dr. Kiran Bhaganagar. I implemented buoyant plume transport in the WRF-ARW model by adding gas buoyancy as a new variable to the LES framework. My research interests include the use of in-situ and remote sensing data to study environmental flows at various scales, Numerical Simulation of Extreme events and Atmospheric Boundary Layer Flows, Code modifications for Weather Research & Forecast (WRF) model to simulate atmospheric flows, Use of mobile sensors for Data Assimilation of Meteorological Parameters, and Large-Eddy Simulations of buoyant flows in a controlled environment.
