Bio
Stuart Thomas is a Professor of Forensic Mental Health at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. He specialises in mental health epidemiology.
His background is in psychology and law; he completed his PhD in Health Services Research specialising in Forensic Mental Health at the Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College London.
His research interests span police contact with vulnerable and otherwise marginalised populations, mental health stigma, missing persons, police decision-making, police use of force and outcome measurement.
