Stine Nielsen

Stine Nielsen currently works as a freelance epidemiologist based in Madrid. Current projects includes estimating the number of people in Denmark with chronic hepatitis C and B (together with Peer Brehm Christensen); working on improving access to HCV prevention and care for people who inject drugs (for the EMCDDA) and developing European protocols for HCV prevalence surveys in the general population (with Ruth Zimmermann from the Robert Koch Institute, for the ECDC). Stine has previously worked as an epidemiologist for WHO/Europe (2004-2008) and at the Robert Koch-Institute (2008-2015). She is an EPIET alumni and on Twitter as @StineNielsenEPI.
