Stephen L. Doggett

Stephen L. Doggett is the Director of Medical Entomology at NSW Health Pathology in Sydney, Australia. He has over 30 years’ experience, produced over 240 publications and presented over 350 papers at various conferences. He has published articles on mosquito surveillance, mosquito-borne diseases, mosquito management, ticks and tick-borne diseases, and bed bugs. Stephen is a subject editor for Austral Entomology, the senior editor for ‘A Code of Practice for the Control of Bed Bugs in Australia', and the senior editor for the first academic text book on bed bugs for 50 years, 'Advances in the Biology and Management of Modern Bed Bugs'. He is an internationally awarded insect photographer and in 2012, was awarded the ‘Award for Excellence’ for services to the pest management field.
