My main interest is develeping cognitive-behavioural therapies for mood disorders. This involves model development - exploratory studies of depressive phenomena and hypothesis tests about specific maintenance processes. I'm particularly interested in self-regulation, goal disengagement and non-adjustment to unwanted life events. It also involves treatment studies - using model refinements to inform CB interventions; studying change processes, interpersonal processes, relapse prevention.
