Consequently, I gained extensive research experience in a broad variety of areas, spanning organic, macromolecular, bioconjugate, textile, materials and supramolecular chemistry over to (non-)covalent hydrogels, 2D/3D cell culturing and tissue engineering – working with a plethora of characterization techniques.
The acquired scientific expertise has continuously nurtured an interdisciplinarity, which nowadays is increasingly needed in a competitive research community. I have trained numerous students to enable them to share knowledge and collaborate with highly motivated researchers in an interactive, interdisciplinary environment. This has enhanced my abilities to work in a team in an independent, reliable and diligent manner.
