Dr Stanislav Boldyryev graduated from the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” (Kharkiv, Ukraine) in 1999 and defended his PhD thesis in 2008. His PhD study was in the field of Process Integration. During his academic career, he worked in several universities as an assistant and associate professor. He developed several new curricula for academia and industry in process integration, energy efficiency, and process simulation. During his teaching career, 7 teaching guides were developed and more than 30 BSC, MSc, and PhD students were supervised. 140+ scientific publications have been delivered. Since 2000 he has been working on different EU research projects in different roles. In 2014 he got an individual grant for experienced researchers, which was financed by EU Marie Curie Fund and the Croatian Government. He has many years of experience working in the industry performing engineering, consulting, and teaching. 40+ projects were accomplished on energy efficiency and debottlenecking in different industries. He worked at the chemical bromine plant as Deputy General Director of Development. In 2017 he created a Process Integration Department at Neva-TeploTechnika Engineering Company where, jointly with CALGAVIN, HTRI, and Process Systems Enterprise he shares his knowledge and experience with the industry. He is a guest editor and editorial board member of International Scientific Journals and a Scientific Advisory Board Member of several International Conferences. His research interests are Process & Total Site Integration, Renewables in Industry, Industry Electrification, Sector coupling, Process Simulation, Digital Twinning, Energy Saving, Heat Exchanger Networks, Heat Pumps, and Emissions Reduction.
