Hyun Soo Woo (M'09) received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in mechanical engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon, Korea, in 2000, 2002, and 2009, respectively. From September 2009 to April 2010, he was a Postdoctoral Research Associate with KAIST. Since May 2010, he has been with the Department of R&D Policy, Korea Institute of Machinery and Materials, Daejeon, where he is currently a Senior Researcher. His research interests include haptic displays and medical robotics.
