Research interests:
Genetics and breeding of perennial forage grasses. Investigation in production and quality of forage, persistency and resistance to drought. Author and co-author of 17 cultivars of grass and legume species. Work in collecting, characterization and evaluation perennial grasses population for including of resistant and productive autochthonous genotypes in breeding, and also for forming of Serbian Gene Bank. Explore permanent, natural and temporary grasslands in composition and production. Investigate morphology and dept distribution of perennial grasses root system in order to determine genotypes tolerant to drought. Implementation of new technologies in grass seed production in practice.
