Raj Singh received the M.Tech. degree in microwave engineering from Delhi University, New Delhi, India, in 1989.
He joined the Institute for Plasma Research, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India, in 1990. He has been involved in various short and long-term projects for ADITYA and SST-1 Tokamak. He developed RF power transmission lines, plasma impedance determination, liquid stub tuner, and liquid phase shifters for a high RF power impedance matching network for Aditya and SST-1 for ion cyclotron range of bbreak frequencies.
