个人简介
My research experience focuses on the functional interplay of different brain areas involved in emotional learning, action control, brain plasticity, decision-making, and a variety of cognitive tasks. To this aim, my research activity mainly included the use of non-invasive brain stimulation (i.e., TMS and tDCS), and the recording of different physiological measures using different neuroscientific techniques as EEG, SCR, HRV, and EMG. My research has been conducted in healthy individuals, studying intra/inter-individual differences, as well as in patients with acquired brain injury, using multimodal methods that combine behavioral, electrophysiological, and neurostimulation techniques, with the aim of developing innovative therapeutic protocols, using the cortico-cortical paired associative stimulation (ccPAS).
